I grew up in Iowa, where we have no major league teams, which made me a Cubs fan (because of the Iowa Cubs at Sec Taylor Stadium in Des Moines, obvs.) and a Hawkeyes fan (despite my mother&#039;s masters degree at ISU; it&#039;s still a bit of an issue at holidays). 

But I love the Packers something fierce, because communism, and the Badgers have been fun to root for, and almost as reliable as the Cubs in terms of losing when it really, really counts. So sure, I guess you could mostly call me a convert.

I&#039;ll even root for the Brewers when they aren&#039;t competing with the Cubs. We can all drink together on &quot;fuck St. Louis.&quot;]]></description>
